Last Friday, Roker shared an update with fans who have been wondering why he hasn’t been on the air lately, revealing his medical struggles.

‘So many of you have thoughtfully asked where I’ve been. Last week I was taken to the hospital with a blood clot in my leg, which sent some clots to my lungs,” Roker confirmed.

“After some medical strokes, I am so fortunate to be receiving excellent medical care and on the road to recovery,” he added.
